MY BACKGROUND

Hey there! My name is Sam and I am originally from Pennsylvania but I currently reside in Savannah, GA. I graduated in June 2016 from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design and concentration in advertising.

One of my most exciting experiences while in school was studying for a quarter in Lacoste, France where I lived in a ninth century village for three months. It was an experience I will never forget!

I have always been interested in creative outlets from the time I was little. Music was one of my first passions - although not musically talented, I love to be around it. I also was always creating crafts and other projects which sparked my interest in design school as I got older. 

Professionally, I have been a corporate merchandiser for the last 3 years. My favorite part about working in merchandising is developing and executing a custom gifting strategy which has allowed me to be able to create some very custom gifts to serve as a personalized touchpoint for customers that creates a lasting memory which is invaluable. 

For the next step in my career, I would love to work on a team that values design where it meets with creative insight and strategic problem solving.
